Victoria Beckham was "a big hit" with the producers of American Idol in Boston yesterday.

As Johnny Ikon mentioned, she visited the capital of New England yesterday to reprise her role as a guest judge on the talent contest after fellow judge Simon Cowell praised her "wit" and "how funny she was" on her first outing in Denver, despite false reports she'd been cold.

The same family source, who is in the most inner circle of Victoria's family, has told me this morning : "You wouldn't believe how excited she is! Everyone keeps telling her how well she's doing, she's in shock because she's not really very confident and was so nervous about even doing this in the first place. There isn't any talk of her doing it permanently, but definitely she could return to make another guest appearance. She feels she's really into her swing now."

My insider concludes : "She's really just a big hit, Simon loves her. He thinks she's hilarious."
