POSH 'N' BECKS £7M U.S. PERFUME DEAL

The sweet smell of success was wafting across the Atlantic yesterday as Brand Beckham prepared to hit the American market.

Golden couple David and Victoria are set to sign a £7million deal to launch their best-selling his and hers perfumes in the States.

It follows the ex-England captain's £1million-a-week switch from Real Madrid to American club LA Galaxy.

Posh, 32, met executives from cosmetics giant Coty in Paris yesterday to discuss the finer points of marketing the Intimately Beckham range.

A Hollywood insider said: "There's an enormous public appetite over here for David and Victoria. Their fragrances are bound to rake in millions."

Posh, who also has a £5million US deal to design handbags and shoes, was in Paris with pal Katie Holmes, 28. The pair also attended a Chanel fashion show, where Victoria chatted with top designer Karl Lagerfeld about her Stateside fragrances.

No doubt he told her the idea made perfect scents.
