Victoria Beckham has turned herself into a blonde bombshell in a bid to spice up her marriage.
The move comes after the Daily Star revealed yesterday that Posh and football ace David are living virtually separate lives.
Victoria, 32, chopped her bobbed locks short and had bright blonde highlights threaded through her brunette hair to get her latest look.
Relationship experts reckon the change of image is designed to give Becks, 31, a thrill in the bedroom when they finally get to spend time together.
It could even strengthen their marriage after we revealed they have spent just three weeks in each other’s company since the start of the year.
Pals have claimed they have been like “passing ships in the night” and have had blazing phone rows.
While she has been busy househunting and getting used to the US ahead of the family’s move to LA, David has had football commitments in Madrid.
Victoria has continually used her hair to change her image whenever there has been a crisis in her life or if she has needed to lift her confidence.
An onlooker in LA said: “Posh looked great with her new blonde hairdo.
“The colour really suits her and the cut makes her look as trendy as any of the Hollywood starlets.”
Yesterday the style icon flew out of LA for a red-hot reunion with David, who has been training with his Real Madrid team-mates ahead of their next game on Sunday.
Relationship guru and Relate counseller Paula Hall reckons the ex Spice Girl’s new hairdo is her way of making things sizzle when they are reunited.
Paula – who runs the website www.relationshipspecialists.com – said: “Everyone knows the saying familiarity breeds contempt. Partners get bored with each other, no matter how beautiful the couple.
“But doing something drastic like having a new haircut will make your partner see you in a completely new light.
“There will be a whole new level of fascination, interest and spark. It’s bound to put some new energy into a relationship, especially the sexual side.
“It would be like sleeping with a whole new person in terms of sexual attraction.
“And it’s been proven men want variety in their sex life.
“This is getting someone new, but in a totally safe way.
“I’m sure it would improve Posh and Becks’ sex life if it needed a bit of a boost.”
Mum-of-three Posh showed off the blonde crop on a shopping trip in LA.
And she seemed skinnier than ever in her all-black jeans and waistcoat outfit.
Clinical psychologist Ron Bracey thinks the new hairstyle could be a bid to cement her profile in the US.
He said: “It suggests she could be taking stock of her life, reconsidering the direction in which she’s heading.
“It could boost her confidence as well as making her more noticeable in LA.
“It reinforces her pulling power as a celebrity – when she gets a new hairdo the whole world takes notice.”
Meanwhile, Posh has lifted the lid on her new reality telly show, revealing it will “push the boundaries”.
She is in talks with the US network NBC about filming six unscripted half-hour comedy episodes following her life.
Victoria said: “This show is really something different.
“It’s pushing the boundaries and I think it’s going to surprise a lot of people.”
