David Beckham Walks with a Cane

A hobbling David Beckham leans on a cane for support as he tries retail therapy at a Gucci store on Thursday, accompanied by wife Victoria Beckham.

The pretty pair walked hand in hand down the Golden Mile with the recovering Becks supporting his future soccer team by wearing an ‘LA’ cap. Vix looks a bit cold there! Brrrrrrrrrrr.

The 31-year-old Los Angeles Galaxy-bound midfielder tore ligaments in his knee during Real Madrid’s Sunday game. But he’s the hottest man alive walking with a cane to date, right?

The David Beckham Academy will officially kick off its 2007 season later this month on March 30.

Away leg ... crocked Becks and wife Posh

David Beckham has been taking some stick . . . now he needs one.

Becks, 31, used a crutch as he and Posh, 32, shopped in Madrid before their US move.

He injured a knee ligament in Real’s draw with Getafe on Sunday. Looking at his cap emblazoned with the initials LA, an onlooker said: “It’s clear where his loyalties lie.”

INJURED ACE JOINS POSH ON SHOP TRIP

CROCKED David Beckham limped painfully on a crutch yesterday - but clearly wasn't the only one having a lean time.

Grim-faced Becks, 31, hobbled around with Posh on a shopping trip, careful not to put weight on the knee he injured in a match last weekend.

But there seemed no danger of Posh, 32, putting too much weight on her knees as she looked skinnier than ever.

They popped into a Gucci boutique in Madrid's swanky Salamanca district but left empty-handed.

One onlooker said: "David looked as though he was in some pain. Posh kept fussing over him every time he got up from his seat in the store."

Meanwhile, her US reality show this autumn will be made by the team behind Friends, it emerged yesterday.

A TV insider said: "The fact they've got heavyweight producers will make her a household name in the States."

Mind you, Posh could probably do with a larger profile in America. And a larger everything else...

If it's true that her show will be made producers of Friends, it's really good thing, i hope. And Victoria's boots are great.

It's a bit strange that the producers of Friends would be working on what the media is saying is going to be a 'reality show' about Victoria's move to LA? Maybe there is more we don't know yet. NBC afterall don't do regular celeb reality tv shows.
