Interview by Caroline Hedley for The Mirror Empty
PostSubject: Interview by Caroline Hedley for The Mirror   Interview by Caroline Hedley for The Mirror EmptyMon Jul 16, 2007 7:12 pm

She met her friday july 13th a here is the interview she did with her :

She wowed fans with her sexiest photo shoot yet - and Victoria Beckham plans to spice up the decor of her new Los Angeles mansion with those racy W magazine images.

Speaking to the Mirror just hours after her family moved in to the £11million Beverly Hills home, Posh revealed: "We've ordered some of those shots to have blown up. David especially likes the one of me writhing on the bonnet.

We were both so happy with the pictures. Even though the poses were quite risque we felt totally at ease.
"

Mum-of-three Posh confessed the rest of her house is perfect - thanks to friends Katie Holmes and interior designer Kelly Hoppen.

David set eyes on the six-bedroom home for the first time last Thursday. His training schedule for Real Madrid stopped him joining his wife on her house-hunting trips.

And Victoria said the pad was so impressive it stunned him into silence.

She added: "The place is so amazing, I can't tell you how fabulous it is.

Obviously David hadn't seen it so I was really nervous about his reaction.

But when he walked in he just stopped in his tracks and went, 'Wow.'

Katie Holmes has been amazing, helping me get all the girly stuff sorted. And Kelly Hoppen has done the most incredible job.

It was so lovely of her to fly out here and work so hard to make it perfect for us.

Her taste is impeccable, it's all very simple, muted tones, and practical to live in, but so stylish at the same time.
"

Victoria told how she had to overcome feelings of guilt at making such a big decision on her family's behalf.

She said: "I felt really bad about doing the house hunt alone, buying such an expensive place without my husband seeing it. I felt, 'I'm making this huge decision about our future on my own'.

But when we all walked in and I saw how thrilled David and the boys were I thought, 'I did really well. It was a big responsibility but I pulled it off'. My family will be really happy there.

For the rest of the night I just walked around with the biggest grin on my face.

I keep having to stop myself inviting every random person I meet around just to show them how great it is.
"

One of its most impressive features is sure to be Posh's wardrobe, which will house her extensive collection of designer frocks, shoes and handbags. And if the Beckhams ever have a daughter, she'll be the most envied girl in town.

Speaking of a rare fuchsia Hermes Birkin bag she bought at auction, the 33-year-old said: "I haven't used it. I think of the bags as an investment.

And some day, when I'm lucky enough to have a girl, I will pass them along to her.
"

Two people going the extra mile to help the Beckhams settle in are friends and neighbours Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes - who are throwing them a welcome to LA party.

And David is due to host a huge do for his team-mates at LA Galaxy and their families.

Posh said: "Tom and Katie have been so good to us.

They're throwing us a little welcoming party and have been helping out with our move.

They are honestly such nice, genuine people. We're always getting asked if we're converting to Scientology...it never even comes up in conversation. We like them as people.

Someone can worship a rock as far as I'm concerned, if it makes them happy!
"

The couple's sons - Brooklyn, eight, Romeo, four, and two-year-old Cruz - have needed little help in going native. Victoria said: "The boys have been running around the house exploring, they're loving every minute. They're off to summer camp in a couple of weeks and they can't wait. It's all such a big adventure for them."

Their mum is also in for a few adventures. After meeting Eric Mabius - Daniel Mead in comedy Ugly Betty - at a party last month, she has been asked to star in three episodes as bitchy magazine creative director Wilhemena's bridesmaid.

She said: "I'm seriously considering it. I'd be playing myself... and would get to wear fabulous outfits so it wouldn't be acting."

Despite only being on US soil a matter of days, it seems the American public already can't get enough of Posh.

Her fly-on-the-wall reality show - which features actors instead of real aides - has had such glowing reviews prior to its screening tonight that NBC is pleading with her to sign up for more.

Victoria said: "The response to my show has been amazing and it hasn't even come out yet, so much so that NBC have asked to commission another six-part show.

It's so flattering. But I just hope people get that I'm being ironic in the show. In one scene the doorbell goes and I refuse to answer it, it's like 'Victoria doesn't answer doors'. But I'm sending myself up. I hope I don't come across as a crazed diva.
"

And despite reports of rows between her, Scary, Sporty, Ginger and Mel C, Posh - set to embark on a 20-date Spice Girls world tour in December - rubbished stories of cattiness between the girls.

She said: "We've had over two million people registering for tickets on the Spice Girls website from all over the world and all people say is we're at each other's throats!

The truth is we haven't had one argument yet. We're so overwhelmed at being a band again for the farewell tour and the response has shocked us all. We're all nervous but totally excited, too.
"

And while she plans to embrace her honourary Yank status, you can forget the style icon adopting the famously casual LA dress code.

Posh said: "I don't want to change the way I dress. This is me, and if people like it, great."

She revealed her fashion obsession was inspired by Olivia Newton-John in Grease. She loved the big hair and skintight trousers worn by the Aussie's character Sandy.

Now, celebs queue around the block to snap up Victoria's denim designs from her DVB line, which is stocked in America.

Despite having the jeans, a best-selling book, fragrance and a sell-out sunglasses collection, Posh has no intention of slowing down.

She said: "This is just the beginning. I want to still be doing this in 20, 30, 40 years' time. I was never going to be the best singer or dancer or actress. I worked hard at it and I did a pretty good job. But with fashion, I'm good at it. My family are my priority, though, and they're going to love it over here. I can't believe how welcome everyone's made us feel, it's touching. We'll always love the UK but we love America, too."

And judging by the Stateside frenzy the Beckhams' arrival has caused, it seems the feeling's pretty mutual...

Better not be latte... after less than six hours sleep, groggy Becks stops for a coffee yesterday en route to a kickabout with his LA Galaxy team.

He had an 8am start after only getting home in Beverly Hills with Victoria at 2am following a meal at the exclusive Chateau Marmont hotel where they had the best table.

Earlier the couple had to fight through crowds of photographers as they took sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz shopping at Toys R Us. A fan said: "It's great to see them out."
