Laughing and joking as if they'd never been apart, the Spice Girls were finally reunited yesterday.

It was just like old times as they got back together to announce an 11-date "farewell" tour starting in December.

Posh Spice Victoria, 33, giggled that it felt a bit like "being divorced then getting back with your ex".

She also revealed that footie star husband David will be joining her on tour.

The band's comeback coincides with a gap in his first season with LA Galaxy - and loyal Becks has promised he'll be there to look after their three young sons.

It was like five Queens of the showbiz world appeared in front of the crowd of 400 journalists when the Spice Girls stepped out to announce their 11 date world tour at the O2 centre yesterday.

They are bound to do many more dates if the public reaction is great. I think it will be - although a lot of people are saying the reunion could fail to be as big a deal as what it could have been because the girls have failed to be away from the limelight ala Take That.

Anyway, it was immense seeing them back together. Richard E Grant introduced them to the crowd of world media, including little old me. I was sitting with my old mucker Susie and we were genuinely crapping ourselves about having to ask questions infront of the crowd.

After a nostalgic clip of the girls was shown they appeared and the photographers went insane. One of them even fell off a box he was using for a better view and injured himself.

Mel B immediately made her self available for "mouth to mouth" according to Geri.

Talking of Geri. It felt like she'd never been away. Since she left the band she's been a lot more laid back and quiet. But as soon as she was back with the others it was like the old Girl Power preaching loud mouth was back in the room. It was ace.

Her hair was proper ginger as it always was but her vintage dress was a bit mumsy for somebody with such a minxy little figure.

I have to say Posh's boobs were the star of the show. It was like they had a life of their own. I couldn't work out how so much breast was actually on show but amazingly we didn't see a nipple. It looked almost abnormal the way everything was out but there wasn't a nip to be seen.

Maybe she had them zapped off during her last alleged boob job. They looked huuuuge! Posh was hilarious though during the press conference.

Geri started talking about how she was overly excited and described being back was "like winning the golden ticket in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Posh butted in hilariously saying: "Geri's just glad that we let her back in."

That shut her up! ha ha.

Posh did make me laugh though when all the girls lined up for a group shot. The four girls moved one way across the stage and Posh just stood there wanting to do a solo shot with the photographers. It's all about
the Posh isn't it? She looked the most uncomfortable about being there. And there I was thinking Mel C was Reluctant Spice!

Mel B provided the comedy aspect throughout with her northern banter. She joked that she would appear topless on their 11 tour dates as a topless dancer!

Then Mel and Geri picked on the journalists. They told Joe Mott (Sarah Harding's ex) that he looked like Kevin Federline, told a reporter from the Daily Mail that all their stories were "s**t" and Geri even mimicked one reporters squeaky voice.

It was a breath of fresh air to see a band doing a press conference and having a laugh. I was giggling away throughout and it was thoroughly entertaining to watch! I think we can safely say that Girls Aloud have got their work cut out to be as fabulous as the Spice Girls.

It was just like the old days when the girls preached about being strong women, flirted with anyone and everyone and didn't take any crap!

They revealed they are going to do 11 dates and have only announced one date in each city. It will feature all the hits and Geri will even feature on tracks that the girls performed after she left in 1998.

To get your tickets you have to register for them on www.thespicegirls.com and hope that you are picked to go down. Get logging on - and no doubt more dates will follow.

They're not starting the tour until December so Baby Spice Emma Bunton will have the chance to get in shape following the birth of her first child with Jade Jones which will be any day now.

So summing up - Posh was too skinny and her boobs were well dodge, Mel B looked bloated but made everyone laugh, Emma was cute but fairly quiet and very pregnant, Geri looked Mumsy but slipped right back into her old place as leader of the pack and Mel C looked the best and was the brains of the band throughout the conference.

I'm not sure about you but I can't wait for the opening night in December - one problem though - it's in Los Angeles. I guess I'll have to pack a little overnight bag!

I knew Victoria would be the one they'd pick on instead of the whole group....and this isn't good publicity at all...i've just looked at the pictures again and in most of the group photos her body language isn't in sync with the other girls...maybe she needs to cut down on her one-leg-forward-hip-pose

I don't think they've being very negative about Victoria. And I saw pix & footage & she was laughing & talking with the girls.

Victoria did have the most attention, that's right & that's because she's the most famous one of them, it's like how Geri did have the most attention in 96/97.

I also agree that Victoria is the most popular one of them now...but at the same time i don't think it's good for the dynamics of the group as a whole especially after looking at today's papers....they all emphasised on Victoria and her boobs instead of the group as a whole....and i don't think she helped matters by wearing that corset because it's almost like she planned it...i can't help but think she knew what the press' reaction was going to be when she wore it

it's interesting how things develop...at the beginning of the spice girls victoria was always the quite and shy one, think not that popular and today she's the 'no. 1' of them....but it's great..we love her...don't we???
