The Beckham injury curse has struck again – but this time it could hit the SPICE GIRLS’ tour.
Not only have DAVID and dad Ted been crocked, but poor POSH is under the weather, too.
She has been fighting a chest infection for two months and hasn’t been able to get fit for rehearsals starting next month.
Victoria has tried homeopathic medicines rather than strong antibiotics and they haven’t worked.
A source told me: “Victoria can’t get rid of her infection.
“She’s worried she won’t be fit while all the other girls are turning their bodies into machines.”
Posh is due to fly into London today with bandmate MEL B so the girls can shoot the video for new single Headlines.
The Spice Girls yesterday added dates at the Manchester MEN Arena on January 23 and 24, 2008, to their tour.
At least David is recovering from his knee injury.
Speaking at a book launch for her close designer pal Kelly Hoppen, Posh said: “David couldn’t be here because he’s hopefully - fingers crossed - playing in the game tomorrow.
“I am really excited for him. He can’t wait to be back out there.”
Posh said David couldn’t wait to get back on the field after he suffered a right knee sprain on August 29 while playing against Pachuca.
Since being introduced as a Galaxy player on July 13, Beckham has appeared in six games, making four starts and scoring one goal.
