_ Ryan : "Ok, it's 7:01 in the morning, friday august 7th; joining us now as a number today of American Idol, never thought I'll say that, is Victoria Beckham."

* Victoria * : "Hello!"

_ Ryan : "Well hello to you, good to see you again .. doesn't she look 12 years old?

. Kara : "Yes, so cute."

_ Ryan : ".. you look so young!"

* Victoria * : "Don't chatter the illusion, I've coming as it's early, ok. Without any make-up on and a funny looking tracksuit but em .."

_ Ryan : " and you're doing alright."

* Victoria * : "Thank you very much, thank you, thank you."

_ Ryan : "Ok let's start with the important stuff : Amercian Idol today. You wil sit there and you'll fill the seat that Paula was in!"

* Victoria * : "I am beyond excited, em, I mean when I got the phone call, I just couldn't believe it, I, I thought like I've got the best job, that there is and I'm just so happy to be here and can't wait!"

_ Ryan : "When did you got the phone call? What day, tell us?"

* Victoria * : "I got the phone call wednesday morning and I was, I was actually in bed and I got text from Simon Fuller."

_ Ryan : "Right."

* Victoria * : "em, saying you're going to Denver and I, I'm just you know so grateful to be giving such a fantastic opportunity, I'm such a huge fan of the show and so is David."

_ Ryan : "We know that you guys watch and you've been on the show with the kids."

* Victoria * : "Yeah. I come, I come to the shows with the kids and, and David loves the show. So, it's just great, I'm still grinning from ear to ear and I'm going to try hard to pout and not chatter that ilussion that I'm a moody cow but I don't know if I can. I'm just so happy."

_ Ryan : "Well you, you are a nice person and this seat you will fill was filled by someone that was really sweet to the kids so you think you'll maintain that treat in the dynamic of the panel."

* Victoria * : "Yeah, y'know. I wanna be nice to be. I know how it's feels to be stood there and to be judged and how you can feel when nerves really get the better of you and I don't want to chatter anybody's, anybody's dream but at the same time there is nothing wrong with a little bit of constructive criticism em you know, it's doing it, it's doing it nicely em cause even those that are bad, you know, they don't know that they're bad, some of them and they might kind of you know, and who am I to chatter that."

_ Ryan : "Ok. So this is the real Victoria Beckham and this is what she's going to do on the panel. What happened when you met Kara? I know that you guys met last night on your way here."

* Victoria * : "Yes, yes."

_ Ryan : "Tell us, we want to know about that conversation."

* Victoria * : "Alright. I bumped into her on the airport and I never met her before em, I'm, I'm a big fan of her, and I think she's really great on the show and she really seems very girly which is, which is what I like .."

_ Ryan : "Kara seems girly? .. she seems tough!"

* Victoria * : "I think she's tough but what I mean by 'girly' is : she's a girl's girl. And we had, we were talking about Fashion, Music, we had a lot of magazines, we were going through them and she's just a really nice friendly, friendly girl. That's what I like about her."

_ Ryan : "You obviously seen what's happening on the news with Paula and everyday there is another story and it certainly sad somebody quits the show, walks away from the show. Do you feel a little bit guilty coming in?

* Victoria * : "You know, I don't, I, I'm a spiritual person and and, I, I believe you get back what you put out there and you know I hope she does something that's bigger and better and I hope that she's gonna be happy. And she's great so she should be at whatever she does.

_ Ryan : "What would say to her if she calls you?"

* Victoria * : "I'd, I'd say 'Good luck', I mean she doesn't need luck from me, I mean she's, she's great. I'm, I'm a big fan of Paula's, you know, I always have been of her music. Em and you know, thank you for giving me this opportunity but she's gonna be great at whatever she does. There is something great for her around the corner. I'm sure that's why she's not doing this."

_ Ryan : "What's your relationship, what's your relationship like with Mr. Cowell?"

_ Ryan : "She grince."

* Victoria * : "Dyou know, I don't know him that well, I, I kind of, I know him a little bit; he is the only man in the Music Industry who turned down the Spice Girls and said we would never work."

_ Ryan : : "Oh this is ... big."

* Victoria * : "This is good Ryan."

_ Ryan : "I didn't know that!!!

* Victoria * : "When he was .., that was years ago."

_ Ryan : "behind closed doors and have this conversation with him before we started."

* Victoria * : "I have so much respect for him. He's obviously incredibly successfull, very well respected. I like the fact he's honest, I think he's very funny, he has a very tongue and cheek british sense of humour which I have too. So I'm looking forward to a bit of banter. I hope that he does give me a little bit of hard time."

_ Ryan : "I think he will."

* Victoria * : But I love that, I, I, I feed off of that. I think he's great, I think he's great on the show, really great."

_ Ryan : "If you want to know anything about him, feel free to ask me because I lived with him for how many years?

. Kara : "8 years."

_ Ryan : ".. for 8 years. So he has become a very, very good friend but we equally love giving him the same amount of crap."

* Victoria * : "Good."

_ Ryan : "What do you think of this show? You watch the show, you're in this business, you've been doing this for a while, not going to say for how much time to not make you feel old, because you're not, you look 12. But what do you think this show needs in terms of the next Idol?"

* Victoria * : "You know what I'm looking for, is, is a great singer, is somebody who got that star quality, I mean it's hard to put your finger on what does exactly is, you know. It's about the whole package, I've always said I'm not the best singer out there, I never was but I worked really hard and I proved if you make the best of what you've gotten, you do work hard, and you're dedicated and you've got a vision and you're passionate. You know, you can do it. So I'm looking for the overall package, I think a certain amount of style, natural style, it's not about having money and dressing in expensive clothes but natural style is something [..] and that's what I'm looking for too."

_ Ryan : "Victoria Beckham with us it's 07:06, we'll come back on Kiisfm.

_ Ryan : "Well speaking of Love, we do love Victoria Beckham.

. Kara : "Yes!

_ Ryan : " .. and I think I told her husband about that when he was on here

* Victoria * : (about David) : "He's great, he's really happy to be back cause he's been away for a long time!"

_ Ryan : "Yes. Tell us; Ok so he's back with the Galaxy. Ok. And how long since he've been back?"

* Victoria * : "He's been back em probably about a month and a half now."

_ Ryan : "How difficult was that back for ..?

* Victoria * : "It was hard. You know, em, I. I understand why he had to go but it was tough for me aswell, you know. I work very hard, I have a clothing line and I also got three children and they're at school, they're very very happy at school here; I'm really happy with being here, so it was difficult for me going back with him for what was to try to make, try to make everybody happy but we're so much better now he's back, you know."

_ Ryan: "So everyone is happier."

* Victoria * : "We are, we are."

_ Ryan : "Now, what about .. you've got 3 guys .. 3 sons .. 3 boys."

* Victoria * : "Ya, ya."

_ Ryan : " any chances you will have a girl?"

* Victoria * : "You lnow .. everybody keeps asking me that and I think at some point you know if I'm lucky enough to have another baby that will be great, if I'm blessed enough. But right now, 3 boys, I mean, that's a lot! I mean. They stand me on a goal and they just kick footballs at me."

* Victoria * : "Yeah."

* Victoria : * " They're really good boys, they're really good boys."

_ Ryan : "A lot of people that are listening, they're parenting, they're going to work, they're running around .. they have to get up, they've got to get the kids ready, to school, they work. Is your day anywhere near that?"

* Victoria * : " It's the same : I get up early on the morning, get the kids ready to school, take them to school and when they're at school , that's when I manage to finish my working because I got to be done by at 3 o'clock in the afternoon so I can go get the kids again. They will always be our priority; both myself and David."

_ Ryan : "So you're both back now, hanging here in Los Angeles. Will he stay with the Galaxy?"

* Victoria * : "He will, he will. I mean he's so comitted to America em .. you know he, he, he also plays for the national team, he's very patriotic. He played for the English for about 17 years em .. so he's gonna continue doing that but, but I'm here all the time ."

_ Ryan : "I am too."

[Pause]

_ Ryan : "Back with Victoria Beckham. Here it's 07:22 in the morning. So if you havn't heard, she's going to be filling in Amercian Idol. We're in Denver as we speak, she's pre Idol air[.. ]Are you weaing heels cause you're almost always on heels."

* Victoria * : "No, I'm wearing flip-flops."

[everybody laughs]

_ Ryan : "Flip flops. She's in flip-flops as she talks to us. But you're Design world is, is a big business for you. You obviously you're designing everything from the glasses that you send me, that I wore at the time and I appreciate that to .."

* Victoria * : "Dresses :)"

_ Ryan : "I'm a little old school when we talk about couture. Tell me about what you're gonna show-off next?

* Victoria * : I'm, I'm showing off my next collection during New York fashion week which is, really exciting, everything is going phenomenally well. You know, I'm, I'm selling it at Neiman's and Bergdorf; the best stores in America so I'm very, very excited."

. Kara : "What's the feeling of it. Is it like, skirts or .. inspiration?"

_ Ryan : "The question is inspiration."

* Victoria * : "Oh, well done. That was a great question. You know for me, it's about timeless, timeless items of clothing, you know really good quality, everything is hand-made in London. Everything's very flattering, leaving a little bit to the imagination. It's, it's cool, I love what I do, I'm passionate about what I do."

_ Ryan : "Ok, so jeans."

* Victoria * : "Yeah."

_ Ryan : "Glasses."

* Victoria * : Yeah.

_ Ryan : "Then, the nicer : the couture."

* Victoria * : "Yes."

_ Ryan : "What about Music?"

* Victoria * : D'you know, I'm not going to do anymore music. I think we were, we were so successfull and it was great being in the band, it was a lot, a lot of fun and like I said we, you know we sold 50 million albums."

_ Ryan : "WOW. That's amazing."

* Victoria * : "It was fanatstic, it was, it was an amazing roller coaster journey but, but you know that's it now. I have a family I can't do that anymore."

_ Ryan : "Acting? You've done some of that or you do some of? There were rumours that you will be on the next Sex and The City movie."

* Victoria : * "Nooo. You know I think every time anybody wants to flog anything they attach my name to it. It's true, if somebody .. especially in England .. if somebody wants to sell a house 'Oh Victoria and David are gonna buy it'. Whatever, it's like 'Nooo, I can't act, you should see Spice World, I'm so crap!"

_ Ryan : "It's so true that [..] "

_ Ryan : "Ok, so today .. I appreciate you came .. but today, the point of you that I assume you'll take, it's the performer because that's what you are."

* Victoria * : "Definitely, definitely. I'm on the performer side. 'Cause I really know how that feels and I know how it is when really nerves can get the better of you and you knwo your pitch goes off and you know, you're a little shacky but it is so nice when I went to the finally and I, and I was watching, you know it's such an amazing opportunity that Simon Fuller is giving young talented kids and it's just great to be part of that, it really is! When you look in their eyes they have that hunger, that passion! That's just great to be part of that!"

_ Ryan : "Well we will see you in just a little bit up there, thanks for coming, I appreciate it. Victoria Beckham."

* Victoria * : "Thank you, thank you. Thanks guys."

_ Ryan : "07:26."
